Things that make you go :-)) take two!

I feel your pain mate! Hope you have a speedy and successful recovery
I recommend a lot of ice cream for the calcium, and a lot of bacon for the protein.

I'm really glad your therapy paid off, and thanks for offering advice about it. So easy to injure your shoulders in MA.

That sounds both hilarious and miserable. I've never broken a rib, but I had Shaun Haven bruise one deeply at the beginning of a seminar weekend with him, and it hurt to breath for two weeks. He was using about 25-35% force as an illustration to his impressive kamae. It made for a truly miserable two weeks. "I should go over there. Why do i hurt so much? Oh, because I'm breathing. I should stay put. Why do I still hurt so much? Oh, that's right, because I'm breathing still!"

The ex came by last night on the way back from work to drop off something that arrived at the flat not long after i moved out. We chatted. All smiles. Was so nice. We hugged. I broke contact first so i didn't come across as needy or anything, but she held on a little longer. We talked about what we wanted, neither of us are completely sure, but we've agreed that we'll start spending time together again, and take it from there. Full reboot, taking it much slower this time.

A little soon to say a second chance, but I'm hoping it leads either to another shot, or feeling more certain about the way things are.

Also dreaming of Assassins Creed. Those dreams are always fun, subconsciously I'm a genius level designer :P

Was in Holland and Barret yesterday, buying some munchies lol, and this woman had her kid with her on one of those braces/leash things, and the kid had a packet of something, just rattling the box happily, kept reaching up to the lady on the till while she was serving someone else, so she smiles at the kid and says hello and stuff. She finishes serving the other person, and the mother holds up her kid, who's 17 months old (year and a half would work for me but whatever ) and says "ok, give the thing (didn't see what it was) to the nice lady" and the till lady reached out her hand for the box and the kid was like "no, it's mine!" and refused to let go xD

Yeah I'm easily pleased, but it was the cutest thing I'd seen all day. Oh, and the kid kept saying "buh bye" instead of hello Made me think of Del Boy lol

Networked my home PCs together. Now I will have music in my spare room/gym just as soon as I get speakers.

Made more home made rice pudding. Is the best I've made it yet!

Damn it! I need to move back up to Scotland!

And YAY, Fitocracy has a Stargate group!

I have pain management that actually works. I got new electrodes for my TENS machine. It works way better than medication, and none of the crappy side effects.

Also, using the TENS device worked the hell out of my lower back muscles. I have DOMS just from that thing. I wonder if it affected my deadlift strength.

I was toying with the idea of using it as an enhancer, but decided not to. It might be that if you use it too often your body thinks 'Yeah whatever, it's an electrical current, meh' and doesn't release endomorphins any more...and that would suck. So keeping it purely for pain management.

Cool!

Maybe an ELEVENS machine would work even better ;]
