I tried foot massage before any lifting which seemed to help alleviate the tension that keeps giving me foot cramp just at the point when I'm trying a heavy lift (for me). If I have time tomorrow going to pair up with the gym manager on Squat to have another go at that pb

Actually that's not a bad idea. They're a wee bit out of date. So it's best to make sure they are well done
 
first parkour session (ever), in the rain, with cold weather, in a sleeveless shirt and shorts, without having eaten anything since dinner last night

Yeah, I'm not going to great but I will video what I can for you guys.

Problem is I originally put my name down for a bit of laugh, not really bothering about placing well. but i've recently became horrendously competitive (not with stupid stuff but if I think I should do well i'd rather be dead than average lol!)

So this is clearly going to end with disaster!
 
They were really apologetic actually. They said whatever they did, whatever they said, they were sorry.
 
successfully spending two days of general inactivity without falling into a serious depression episode!
 
chance meeting with someone from my old club on way home, he also trains in a neighbouring club, well mostly at the mo, possible alternative to my current no dojo training
 
i appear to have defeated my depression!

however that still leaves the SOURCE, and funnily enough most of the people most receptive to my issue with it are or have been worse off than i am. which i find amusing so it goes here too
 
Got the scaffy bar to build my axle barbell with.
Just need a couple of wheels with tires on to protect the garden path and I can put it together.

Anyone got any ideas on attaching wheels to a scaffolding pole where I can take em on and off for Deadlifts or clean and press?
 
successfully doing a cat pass by using the arm of the sofa (got a bit paranoid about doing it a metar away from a concrete wall on saturday ). i am now probably going to spend the week jumping over the sofa over and over like a bloody fool

Even more )) looks like the axle wont cost me a penny!

friend works in a big scaffolding company and got me an 8 foot bar, even delivered it to my house, and the local pikey at the scrap yard says I can have the wheels for free, I've just pulled down a huge oak wardrobe so there is the platform.

Even the welding rods have been donated by a mate who's just bought a new welder that doesn't use them!
 
getting a training high from doing forms at full intensity

gotta pump myself up, gonna check out the offtopic gym in a bout half an hour
