Passing my exams !!!

Then Popping my thumb out training last night !!!

Thumb was a minor complication compared to the exams !!!

I used to make my living playing guitar so I often went to the Empire in glasgow to check out the musicians.There was a comedian/singer on one night wirh a trio backing him.The songs were crap (not rock) so I payed no attention to the guitartst plus he was soooo bloody shy that nobody noticed him.

Two years later he wandered on stage in London and established guitarists like Clapton and Townsend were blown away.Jimi Hendrix had arrived.

:-)) giving full contact a go tonight at rugby - I sprained my sternoclavicular joint a bit ago and had to miss playing. So tonight I get to run into people :-))

Narc - we have water restrictions in Australia so there's no water in the hose...

Smurf - congrats on the exams!! Smarty pants. Now where did you pop your thumb out of exactly?

Wow!!! Is there anything you haven't done Koyo?

I think he's a great guitar player. I couldn't believe the guitar sacrifices though. How disrespectful to the instrument, not just disrespectful but unnappreciative..

Putting light duty electric strings on my acoustic to lower the resistance while I'm still learning.

Nah.. I can work with heavy duty acoustic strings I just don't need them, so why not work with something easier?

Finally getting it tuned... oi..

Can't wait till friday, a regaee duo wants to work with a tribal drummer, and somebody dropped 'em my name!

Fender used to use an advert of Townsend "smashing" his stratocaster and amp. The strat came apart at the bolts holding the neck. They put it back together and it played perfectly!!!!

I'd murder anyone who damaged my strat.Good luck with your playing.

Yeah that's cool and all, but I doubt they could put back together and play the guitars he smashed and lit on fire. It's just wrong.

I understand. I've heard a lot of strats and I've never heard two that sound/play alike. Find one you love you better guard it well.

Thanks Right now playing is a bit of an overstatement though



Concrete floors in the bedroom make for some amazing acoustics. Drums and guitars alike sound amazing.

I was running late this morning, so I thought I would be in later...

got onto the motorway this morning and there was barely any traffic!! woohoo - easy ride into work
