Over the weekend me and the missus got ALL of our books out and organised our bookcases.
For years many of our books have been in the loft as we didn't have the space to have them all out.
But moving house and a trip to Ikea for some modular Billy bookcases later and that is no longer a problem.
God damn I have a lot of martial arts books. I've had to organise them into subjects and themes. And I've lost/binned/lent some over the years too.
A great way to spend an evening though.

I did that after my fire. We already had the ikea unit but it was always full of toys. Now all the books are in genre and out of the attic. I have a huge childrens section so bring on the grandkids

What are wrist curls?

I was thanked last night at the end of the night, made me smile. Think they must assume I work at the gym. Maybe it's being there at closing time, or my clearing up plates and dumbbells between and after sets in my rest periods

It's been hard keeping motivated training myself but enjoyed tonight.

Started with 100 bokken strikes, then some from directional strikes, bo furi with my hanbo, then I took the weights off one of those york barbells, still a decent weight maybe 10kg and more bo furi, some blocks and strikes. Next punching the bag for a while, sustained for endurance, then right only and left only, repeat. A few sets of pushups. Finishing with rolling from kneeling, and from ichimonji, also tried one handed holding hanbo rolling, and picking up from the mat, repeat with bokken. Keep forgetting to try the headstand (pre work for handstand)

My first ever boxing coach has been in touch via face book to wish me luck on Friday.

What a gent, even invited me round to do a few rounds with a couple of his boys.
