Last night I went out for a meal with a friend to a country pub so enough distance for a winding detour at break neck speed, first time I've seen his beast of a car. Y'know that day of the Oslo shooting, we were at a powerlifting comp at Yardley Goboin but went in his lil van, passed some company that does tuning and mods. I still can't believe how fast that car goes.... it was like normal car speed then suddenly hitting fast forward. I know that two seater sports cars are wholly impractical, had an on/off long distance relationship with someone since 2001 and he has had a succession of them, the latest a BMW Z4. It's not in the same class as a VX220 though

Morris dancing. I don't know why, but there's something just pleasantly quaint about it that makes me feel really peaceful. I think I have a problem though, they banged their sticks together, and I was waiting for the disarm and counter :P I kinda miss doing escrima xD

Not likely, it was 'footcrusher', though he was surprised to hear I was 5 years older than him as he thought I was quite a bit younger. Both of us ducked out of judo training today, and talked about err, judo a lot, and cross training

This isn't exactly graphic, but it does feature a man in a bikini (he humps the air at some point, but he's wearing a dress by then so it's not as horrific as it would be lol.)

It sounds a lot worse than it is, but this made me laugh till I cried. Yay for chatroulette xD

Good bike ride yesterday while I was looking for a new car. No idea how many miles I did, probably a lot fewer than it felt like, but it was good to just get out. Even got to use my posh camera bag for what I bought it for (it's for nutters who like climbing, cycling etc so it's got a hydro pack in as well as a camera section).

Because he stood on my foot as I couldn't get the Tai Otoshi combination right. I'm okay with straight up Tai Otoshi, but these combinations mess up my preparation....

I did my first Takate Kote tonight, but there were no other judoka there, that's not to say I didn't meet anyone new with a MA background

One of the best, maybe even the best to date, padwork sessions I've ever had. 90% clean hit rate, the other 10% being messy. Even nailed the jab on several occasions, and absolutely smashed the pad with my cross, making a wicked sound. Feeling pretty happy right now

New car! Not got any fancy things like leccy windows () but its blummin tidy for a 12yo car. And I got to remind next door that our tv is louder than theirs by listening to an Iron Maiden concert while under the car
