Things that make you go :-)) take two!

Got freeview to my room after fitting a new digi aerial in the loft

And got me a bluray player (300 is goooooood on bluray). Choice of paying a fiver for a multi-scart for dvd player and freeview box or buying a bluray player with hdmi. In typical bloke fashion, I bought the new gadget
 
If I needed another console I might have bought one but I don't play video games as often as I used to. Saying that, I spotted my NES, ZX and Playstation (the old Gen 1) while I was up in the loft
 
Cleaned my entire kitchen from top to bottom. Think I lost about 3 layers of skin from my hands and lungs in the process. Can't remember the last time they felt this clean.
 
No. But there are layers of some sort of tissue in there. I did have skin on my hands though.
 
travelled to London (Bethnal Green) earlier today for a bit of tying up fun
I did try and wimp out earlier but all my Cambridge friends were busy so no excuses...

Breakfall training...

Performed a technically perfect face plant walking down the driveway on the way home last night. Fortunately my front breakfall skills saved me from all but a bruised knee and slight scrape on my hand!

It was funny really, I landed and suddenly realised that it was my forearms on the ground in front of me that had absorbed the impact, not my hands and wrists! I have a massive bruise on my left knee though!
 
I haven't actually taken a full on fall since taking up Aikido years ago. Had plenty of trips and stumbles. But I always manage to stay on my feet.
