Have been successful in gaining a new position as a Support Worker/teaching Assistant at a school which caters solely for children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
So not only am I well on my way to becoming Miss Sam in a job I'll love but I no longer have to live out of a suitcase, drive the length and breadth of the country, live in remote locations and have to climb telephone poles for phone signal or visit the hospital with broken children 5 times a week AND I'll be back round MAP more....unlucky.
Then my dog decided to have an upset tummy which as she is still young scared her....so her upset tummy trailed through the lounge, hallway, kitchen, outhouse and patio.
yes three, that's right, THREE, not one or two but 3
CT Fletcher youtube video posts today. alas I can't post them as they'd mess with TOS here but inspirational
On the grrr thread I mentioned my drains blocking up.
Well that turned into something hilarious when the drain man turned up, emptied the bucket of poo and bog roll I'd fished out back into the drain a bit too enthusiastically and promptly got a big splat of it right in his face.
"Eeuuur it's gone in't me gob" he said in a fine Leeds accent.
Man...trying to keep a straight face was nigh on impossible.
Almost worth the money for that alone.
More a thing that makes you go eh???. I went to WHSmiths last week to buy a book and was shocked and dismayed to find them selling it at full price, a rather ridiculous £14.99. Disgusted and taking it as a personal insult I opted to purchase it from their very own website for a tidy £9.59 with free delivery to my local store.
An email was received telling me that it was on its way, so I popped into the same store and asked if it had arrived. The guy looked on the computer, walked over to the shelf that I stood by a week earlier, picked out a copy and handed it to me...
Had a ride out to Worcester on the off chance of seeing the Peregrine falcons at the cathedral , we were lucky enough to see one tucking into a pigeon !
