thinking of getting the nokia n95 today. is this a good move?

iv heard good things about it and it seems like just the phone for me. however i have heard theres bad points to it also. plus theres the n95 8gb to contend with. which is better i guess but also more pricy i imagine. what would you reccomend? thanks

Its like a brick! Unless you are going to use the mass amount of features it has I wouldnt bother. Great phone if you want to use it as a mp3 player, camera, sat nav, pda etc etc. I personally prefer to use my phone for fun photo's (which my phone camera does well), ipod for music and have a tom tom. Upto you really.

I have one which I like - its got lots of nice features as I am sure you are aware. There are possible drawbacks though. The screen (which is a nice size) is permanantly exposed which could cause problems depending on how you carry your phone (no way would I let my girlfiend dump it in her purse where loose change and car keys can scratch it). Its slide feature could (and this is just my opinion) be a little fragile if dropped or knocked. I don't want to put you off but its worth thinking about this.
