This guy introduces me as his friend, he is not interested?

We are not dating, just went out for some events together. I'm new to the area where he lives, but he is not. So he knows many people. everytime when I am with him, he always says, "this is my friend, xxx" to his friends. Does that mean he is not interested? Or at least it's good that he introduces me to all of his friends?
