Now let’s step into the cartoon world of Dragon’s Lair 2 : Time Warp by Electronic Arts … As Dirk the Daring, you’ve got to brave a perilous journey through time to save Princess Daphne from a most unfortunate fate under the hands of the Evil Wizard Mordroc.
‘Dragon’s Lair 2: Time Warp‘ features some great animation. If you have played the classic game before then this version is sure to be a hit with you. If you haven’t then you may just be a little disappointed. It seems a shame that you can’t actually control Dirk yourself and put him where ever you like. The game is more just a reflex game and all about tapping the lit buttons. After a while it did become a little tedious because that was all you was doing. Don’t get me wrong, the on screen animation and actions were really good but it would just have been nice to be a bit more involved in the game
Dragon’s Lair 2 offers very entertaining cartoon scenes. The game is composed of eight stages that will whisk you through various worlds. You’ll venture to Egypt, meet characters from Alice in Wonderland, Sleeping Beauty, and even land on Beethoven’s piano. Because I was concentrating so hard on the button tapping, I didn’t actually get to see much of the cartoon itself. I enjoyed witnessing the varied death scenes since that was the only time I didn’t have to do anything. Unfortunately, it was a pain to have to repeat everything in each stage. Aside from the original game, you can also play the Director’s Cut, which comes with an alternate ending. Of course if you are ipod and iphone user, you can play with this game on your two devices. All we need have to do is just transfer this ipod apps from ipod to iphone, that is to say we must transfer apps from ipod to iphone. As to how to transfer it, you can just visit the professional ipod to computer transfer information center for you.

In the story, Princess Daphne has been stolen away in time by the Evil Wizard Mordroc. His plan is to marry her and force the Death Ring onto her finger. Once that happens, she’ll be beyond saving. As you play the game, more story will unravel; if, however, you stumble along the way, which you almost certainly will, it will spell Dirk’s death. Luckily, in this magic game world, you can opt for infinite lives.
The game controls consist of five buttons: four directional buttons on the right, and one sword combat button on the left. You are given hints as to how to play the story with flashes of yellow light. If you spot a yellow flash to Dirk’s left, you’ve got to quickly tap the left arrow button; the same goes for all the other directions, and when the sword flashes yellow, it’s pretty straightforward.
Recommendation
Dragon’s Lair 2: Time Warp is well recommended to casual gamers who aren’t afraid of putting their reflexes up to the test. The game is currently on sale in the App Store for $0.99. If you are really a great gamer, just have a try it!
