So i'm only a purple belt, and I've only sparred once, with a very defense guy, and my sensei said he'd like me to spar with a dude I know who is like 16 and is a 3rd degree black belt. I'm not afraid he is gonna hurt me or anything, I just wanna know a little bit about sparring with someone much better then you (well, me.). He kicks a lot, and he isn't a defensive person. He is around my size, but like I said, he is 3 years older then me, and a 3rd degree black belt. Just wondering if you all had any tips. Thanks!
It may be a McDojo, guys, Idk. If yall could help me out on how to tell if it is..That would be cool.

I've only been a purple elt for like 2 weeks. And yeah, i've only sparred once. :P

Feign fear. Move in circular motions, let him chase you and wear himself out kicking and punching. Deflect if you can; block if you must. Do not strike until he shows signs of fatigue. Then start fighting; aim for his ribs and midsection.

J: McDojo lol

I agree with J on 2 counts. First, there is no "winner" when you spar in class. The better at sparring your opponent is, the better the opportunity to learn. During my years as an orange belt, I got to spar with a real sandan. Great experience, and I could never touch him, but that experience made it easier to 'touch' the brown belts in my own club. I won! Go and spar, and learn from those who have gone before, it's a great journey.
Second, I also get a red flag at 16 YO sandan. 16 is usually the youngest a shodan is awarded. The youngest real shotokan (my own style) sandan in memory was just under 30
