tire and rim speed difference?

If i put bigger rims and tires on my truck would it affect how my speed gauge shows how fast im going? If so, how can I fix that?

Yes it would affect Ur speed gauge! You will have to take it somewhere to get the Cal-abrasion redone on it to fix that .

If you put taller tires, go a little slower.

Before doing anything to your truck contact the service department of a local dealer which services your make of truck and ask questions. You may save yourself a whole lot of grief by looking before you leap. Your speedometer and odometer may be calibrated to work properly only with tires of a particular diameter. Using any other tire size may cause permanent damage to those and perhaps other systems. Check that out first, then decide your course of action.
