My mother bought me this Pink Razr phone from one of her friends brand new. I am having trouble with it cutting off by its self and other annoying problems. The phone is only 4 months old. If I contact T- Mobile will they replace it with the same phone even though I did not buy it on my account? Thanks

sadly phone companies will not usually let you do this, but some will take the phone to the factory and perform some tests to see if it is malfunctioning. Sometimes they will also give you a discount on a new phone if you extend your plan. It doesn't matter what account it was purchased on. If not, try to get a go phone of pay as you go type phone but insert your SIM card. Good luck! :)

That's a good question. I suppose since it is a Tmobile phone purchased not long ago they might replace it if it's having problems, but they may want proof of purchase. Maybe the woman who your mom bought it from could request a replacement.

You can always call the tmobile customer care number, they'll give you an answer.
