To all people going to college...

Is college really worth the experience? The only reason I am thinking about going is for all the girls and parties.. basically im in it more for that then the education. I have two choices when I graduate,

A: Go to College for 2 years and learn about plumbing spend lots of money, party, meet girls.

B: Enter the plumbers Union right when I graduate and start making a lot of $ and visit my friends that to go to college. Possibly go to Night School for a business degree.

But is College really that great when it comes to partying and meeting girls? People also tell me how much better it is then High School, personally I think going to High School sucks and anything is better. After the four years after High School are over though if I chose not to go to college I will be that much more ahead then the kids I graduated High School with.

Go to college, get good grades to insure that you can make it in. In my junior year I decided I wanted to take the trades route because that was an easy sure-fire way to make money, especially if you own your own business. But I've always been on the more intellectual side of the populace and once I started actually working with tradesmen and construction workers it was painfully clear that I did not belong there. I basically slacked/skipped my entire senior year but I still have grades enough to get into decent schools. I also regret not going to university right out of highschool, instead I took a year off, worked and traveled which I don't regret because traveling is amazing. But my advice to you is to not make any concrete decisions because you might always change your mind and to work hard to keep as many options open as you can because you never know how you'll feel in a few years.

I'm in my second year of college and still dont know what the heck i'm doing here :( Around me theres Good money in construction related trades and sometimes I wish I had gone that direction right out of school; however, I'm glad I made the choice to goto college because if your going to go, now is the time, not later in life when you wont be able to enjoy all that the college life has to offer.

Its been shown that people who go to college earn mad bank more than those who don't. Think about it long term, plus what if you encounter some horrible plumber's nightmare like a shit storm attacking your face, and you never want to plumb again? At that point, you might wish you had gone to college.

Also, your mom goes to college.

Hahaha, first you hit your head, then you have half a day of typing shit that doesn't make sense, and now that you're better, or seem to be, your mom is bitching at you. Haha.

its not worth it if you just want to go to party. Its worth it if you want to go and get an education that can help you get a job later.
