When i woke up this morning i found that my year old betta was stuck in his lighthouse home. He found a way to swim towards the top of the inside and cut himself up. To get him out i had to break the fixture. When i put him in the water i saw that he has a massive gash on the top of his head and a bunch of his scales are missing ontop of his back. i have him in a 10 gallon tank with a heater and a filter, and he swims towards the top to get air and thats it. he then continues to go back to the bottom where he lays on his side and his breathing is labored. i feel horrible for him and i dont want him to suffer but then i'd feel horrible euthanizing him if he can make it. i'm torn on what to do. so im taking a poll, what should i do?
