Does the source of the revelation matter to you, or simply the revelation itself? Are you concerned with the life of the individual who is 'seeing & revealing', or do you not care about them & only care about their gift of insight? Does their character matter to you?
 
Yes I am a prophet/psychic. I tell the future:

You will be $10.00 poorer in the next hour or less. (Depends on how long it takes you to mail me ten dollars.)

The source of my revelations are all around me all the time. Animism is a symbolic language. When I do a shamanic journey it is with unconditional love. If it causes my death it is my fault not thiers. It is the same as if you took a friend to see a wonderfull vista and it caused your death. Even knowing I was going to die I would still take them. The difference is that I know that life and death are an illusion and there is nothing to fear except ourselves.

Practicing Shaman... quantum physic rocks.
 
Character matters. They could be a total nut job.

There is a way to test their "gift.". If something they predict doesn't come true when they said it would, they are fake. It is in Deuteronomy somewhere.
