Tony Romo suffered injury to insult late in the Dallas Cowboys loss against the still undefeated Atlanta Falcons. On the last play of the game, Romo was injury. Currently, Romo’s injury is being called a strained back.
The good news for Romo and the Cowboys is that the quarterback doesn’t believe it’s serious. Early indications point to him being able to play next week.
The bad news? Romo just hasn’t been very good this season. He has 13 interceptions compared to only ten touchdowns. He’s on pace to set a career high in interceptions and a career low in quarterback rating.
The Cowboys haven’t been able to overcome the shaky play from their QB. They are 3-5 this season and will need a strong finish if they hope to make the playoffs.
