I just bought a bike and want to ride it in the morning for plain exercise. No races or anything like that. But its cold and windy outside in the morning, my hands freeze (wearing gloves) as soon as Im out. Its not unbearable but its uncomfortable.
Is it unhealthy to ride on such cold wind? I feel the air is a little bit too cold to breathe(again, only uncomfortable), specially when going fast.
Anyone has any tips about this? Should I put on two pairs of gloves and a jacket? I've never seen anyone riding like that. I feel like after warming up I would just get too hot. But then again, is it good for the body to go through this kind of temperature difference? like you're warm during the workout but its very windy outside and cold air is going through your lungs??
