Tools for changing breaks on a 1990 Lexus LS400?

I am going to be helping a friend change his breaks on a 1990 Lexus LS400. I have changed breaks before but I know some of the higher end cars like a Lexus have "special tools" for removing them. Does this car require anything special?
 
If you don't have a lift, then as you know, you must have safety jack stands to support the car after you jack it up. Also, wheel chocks. Otherwise you can't safely go under the car to loosen the caliper bolts.
