The point of Top Gear Lily is for guys to drool over something other than cars. Cars that go very fast. As for Fith Gear, the only thing it does better than Top Gear is put VBH on our screens. Otherwise there's no competition.

In fact the BBC should approach VBH and offer to let her be the lead presenter on Top Gear.

You can't have female presenters on Top Gear, it just wouldn't work. If you have less than 99% testosterone saturation in the studio, anything larger than a V6 seizes up.

Fifth Gear < Top Gear. I'm American. From the North, too. Oh and Lily how dare you say Richard Hammond is not cute when you wanted a thread about crazy ass Tom Cruise.

The point of Top Gear is to drool over the most expensive cars ever built and not worry about what the ladies will say. Its a show that proves TV can be interesting when there are no hot woman on.

Mind you there have been classic examples of fun in the programmes. For instance, Clarkson has always said that if you pull outside Christian Scott Thomas house in that type of car, you were either not trying or just showing off.

And when she came on she just loved the small cars. Not the fast cars that Clarkson had thought was great to pick up a celeb in, he got owned in total by being shown that he had no chance of pulling her. Class.

BTW, whatever has happened to the Top Gear dog?

I like Top Gear and I am a girl. All other tv car shows pale in comparison imo!

And Lily,Richard Hammond is cute!

I was at a Jimmy Carr gig on saturday and someone asked him who the Stig was (following his amazingly bad lap in a reasonably priced car) He said that in the first series it was Damon Hill, and now it's actually tow blokes - both rally drivers, but he didn't give the names.

Yeh i heard it was Damon Hill at one point. It defo isnt Nigell Mansell though! Mansell is a chubby chappy the stig looks thin

Blue cars are my favourites cause they are all shiny and stuff and I have a pink fluffy steering thingy.

See this is why nobody takes women seriously when it comes to cars. Blue cars indeed. Everyone knows red cars are the best because they go fastest.
