Toshiba Satellite a25-s207. I do not have the startup disks or anything that my computer originally came with.I have recently reformatted my computer. I've searched on the internet for drivers only finding rather fishy websites. Here is the information I need:
1) Restore hotkey functions (ie: I can't use function F6 to lower the brightness and can't figure out how to do so any other way.) None of the function keys work. I believe this might be related to a driver, but honestly I'm not sure and don't know where to look for this one.
2) Anything critical you think I might need for this laptop as a software option that originally came with the product (such as toshiba applications, I own MS Office and other software packages, I am not looking for illegal downloads)
I believe I already have all of my drivers, but if someone has a list that shows all needed drivers, that would be appreciated, but not as critical as the first two. I've already checked the toshiba website.
And if the function keys are controlled by firmware and I'd need to look at my Bios settings... I don't know how to do this without the prior installed toshiba applications. Thank you for any assistance.
Maybe, I'm not making myself clear, thank you for the help thus far, but as stated (unless I didn't write that before) I've already been to the Toshiba website. Problems aren't solved from there.
