did you hook up an external monitor?
Most likely the inverter died.

If you don't have a second monitor.
take a flash light, and hold it to the screen in a dark room, you will see a slight image on the screen. This means the LCD is functioning but does not have a back light to illuminate the screen.

You can find an inverter for 50 dollars.
 
I have this Satellite Pro A200 that is behaving weird. I switch it on, power light is blue, the the HD light is blue, fan starts to run and... nothing. Only thing I see is the the power led blinks blue 2x and orange 2x and repeats that. No image on screen not even with external monitor. What I tried:

- change memory
- change harddrive
- tried with only the battery
- tried with only the ac adapter
- disconnected everything and hold down the power button (get rid of static)

I am out of options. Anybody out there who has another idea?
