totally confused and need advice?

ok, so i have a swimming class tomorrow and ill be on my 5th day of my period and i looked through the yahoo answers earlier and half said i shoudnt swim, even with a light flow, and some said that id be fine, as long as my suit has a lining that will catch anything. i wear a one piece speedo sport suit, and it has a lining thats kinda thick but not very thick. my mom flat out refuses to let me wear even one tampon, and pads would make no sense in the water. will i be a-ok? or should i not swim? my teacher says that she thinks id be just fine, cuz she's dealt with this plenty of times b4. and ill have my towel close by for when i get out. we stay in the whole period, except for when we go into the wellpool, which is only like 2 feet from the lappool. i think ill be ok, my friends think so, and my teacher thinks so. should i just go 4 it? oh, and the guy i have a major crush on is in that class, so if i do start flowing in the water, im dead.
 
Use a pantiliner. They don't have that expandable gel "stuff" and if you just put it on right before the class and change it when you remove the suit, you'll be fine.
