I know this is a crazy idea, but I'm an avid cyclist and am wishing to go on a cross-country ride to raise cancer awareness. What touring bikes are good for performance and efficiency?
Check out the Surly long haul trucker. Go to road bike review and look at the other touring bikes. Most of the manufacturer's will have a touring bike in their line up.
