my high beams have not worked since i got the truck two years ago. recently i pressure washed under the hood of my truck and all hell broke loose! my truck wouldnt start afterwards so i dried out the distributor cap, and found the same results. long story short.. I unbolted the igniter without disconnecting the battery and think that is what caused my coil,aftermarket ignition pak,alternator and battery to fry! I have since eliminated the aftermarket ignition and replaced the battery,coil and alternator. I now have my truck back to running and charging condition but no headlights or blinkers. I have parking lights,tail lights, brake lights, blinkers only work when hazards are on and highbeams come on when you pull the switch to you. I tested the plugs that go into the headlights and 1 of the 3 prongs on each headlight is hot. anybody have any ideas? Most greatful!
