i have a 1994 toyota pickup, i have just installed a new radiator and thermostat. when i start the truck up and let it warm, it idles at a ridiculous level and then there is no heat after 25 20 minutes of letting it warm up. and then the temperature will rise up into the red. i dont know what the problem is?

Just do the following and it should be fine.
Do not leave idling just drive it. Toyota owners manuals say not to leave engines idling for long periods of time. That practice of warming up is only for other makes. That is why it idles fast to keep the air moving over the engine until the vehicle has started moving .it is normal and safe. check fluids and make sure water pump does work. if it continues to over heat after this practice
