i hate itunes and i need a list of alternative ways to transfer music from my pc to my touch 4th generation. its IOS5. Itunes deleted all my music from my old CD's, which i can't retrieve anymore, and I dont trust itunes with the music on my current CDs. It's music from japan, the band "The Pillows" i got from a friend, if you guys have heard of them? whatever, they are an awesome band. The old music which i dont wanna buy AGAIN since i had them once before ($70 worth of CDs), im not buying them from itunes. Screw Apple.
I did WASTE $250 or so dollars on this damn thing so i just wanna know how i can do this without itunes. The last time i connected the itouch to my pc with itunes, it wanted to "upgrade" the ipod with some new something-or-other. Last time that happend, i backed up the music, or SO I THOUGHT, instead it backed up purchases only from the itunes store, none of the music from my old CDs however. This really digs at me, in a really bad way, and i dont wanna use itunes anymore, or install on my pc even. slows everything down, and trys to control everything.

I just have a problem doing part 2 (PC to itouch) without itunes, since the Itouch doesnt work like a normal MP3 player, or other ipod.
I've used google already, downloaded tons of software, nothing work. They all said they couldn't detect the itouch, even though the PC could. I use Windows 7 by the way.
