I am looking to buy a tablet pc. All this tablet will be required to do is have an Micro SD card slot and a USB port (not concerned if OTG cable required)
Before I begin to explain I will mention I have searched the internet + models of tablets already but cannot find any reference to attempting this.
The purpose of the tablet is to put the contents of the Micro SD directly onto the external hard drive, which is a 'Western Digital 1TB passport' drive. The files will be far too large to place onto the tablet first, which is why the data must be directly transferred between the card and the HDD.
The configuration is so I can move large GOPRO hero 3 videos onto a hard drive off there micro SD card, without requiring a laptop. And a tablet will mount into the box I store the camera in.
So an overview of my question is - Can a tablet transfer these files without storing internally first?
