Transferring pictures from PC to LG Chocolate VX8500?

I wonder if anyone knows how to transfer pictures from a pc to the LG Chocolate? I have tried to put the pictures on the SD card, however, the phone says that there are no pictures on the card when I check the memory. I would appreciate help from anyone that has been able to transfer pictures from the pc to the Chocolate. Thanks for your help.
