Transmission fluid for a 2000 4.0 jeep wrangler.?

I recently replaced my manual transmission fluid with a 75-90 synthetic gear oil, this was about 3 months ago. I just recently learned that I was supposed to put "synchromesh" gear oil in. Will this hurt my transmission? Im trying to find the right oil now.

yeah man go to the dealer and pickup about 3 quarts of their tranny fluid. Its about 20 bucks a quart. and dump that 75-90. There is sulfur or something in the 75-90 and it eats away synchro material. So definitely go change your transmission fluid.
