Travelling without a passport?

Hi so basically my question is what sort of identification do I need to travel within the USA without a passport? Because I plan to depart from Detroit to Los Angeles.

But I live in Detroit and am a Canadian citizen because I am a student attending one of the Universities there and will a Canadian driver's license will be accepted when I get through pass security and etc?
 
I think you should call the airport or airline you will be traveling with ahead of time and ask these questions.... smile!
 
A Canadian driver's license is fully accepted for domestic travel within the United States.
