...Was it positive or negative? What with a lot of mention of Gaza (and the Holocaust, and challenges to it) on Y/A lately, what are your perceptions of how Jews are treated? Have they been treated normally in your experience? If not, how has it been different?
Amber--interesting. Which country?

They have been threatened with death and destruction every single day by the Palestinians. Pals need be taught a lesson once and for all. It's the moslems who should be treated..

Jews are just fine

Growing up in Chicago, which is full of a variety of different cultures and religions, I was lucky enough to never experience any strong prejudices. I had friends who's family's were Muslim, and Jewish. I had friends of all races and because we were so young we didn't care. I remember my teacher in first grade was Jewish, and at one point we began discussing the differences between everyone in the class. It was definitely a little strange and a lot of parents didn't like it, but us kids thought it was great. We loved the fact we were such a hodge podge group, and we wanted to learn about each other. It was something we were all proud of.

I'm proud to say that now as an adult I'm proud of who I am and excepting of everyone's culture!
