Trevor Ariza is the heart of the Laker defense. Everytime he comes off the bench he brings the spark that lights the place up with his D. Remember that Jordan Farmar, one of their toughest defenders, is out so Jackson has to use guys that aren't as tight on defense. When Farmar comes back, the intensity will too. That will mean two former UCLA Bruins on defense. How could it not improve? So to answer your question...no. I think Ariza is right where he belongs and wants to be.
