I wanted to know if anyone has had any employment history or experiences with this company. I have been offered a position in the business to business sales for the Verizon division.
Thanks in advance.

Hello, I have just started with TRG 2 weeks ago in the new york market and so far it seems like a great place to work for... Yes you are outside nearly your entire day depending upon the territory you receive. This isnt a job choice for everybody. It does take a strong mentality and strong sense of determination to achieve what you need to make it in the type of job it is. I have worked in telecomm in the past on the wireless side and its extreamly cutthroat... on the B2B side that TRG handles there is so much more freedom as long as you remain within the regulations and procedures. There will be days that you wont make a cent and there are days that you are going to make a few thousand (depending upon the type of account you manage to set up) but for the most part this is the type of job where you work... not the type of job where you relax in a cubicle or office all day and just coast through the day. I am enjoying the job so far, not trapped inside the same building for hours at a time and when its lunch time when ur working the field you dont have to panic about being back to the office by a certain time so if your a minute or so over the hour you take lunch its not a huge deal as long as you make your numbers... However before you start working officially for them they will call you to go on what is called a "day of observation" and that day really gives you a chance to test drive the position and for you to decide if it really is for you or not. The day of observation is unpaid since it is also the second interview. If you decide on the d.o.o that you wouldnt like the position they give you a chance at any time to tell the person you are assigned to for that day that you want to leave and just simply call the office and explain to them that you arent cut out for the type of work. If you are simply stay with ur assigned person for the rest of the day and complete the interview when you return to the office. :-)

I believe that this is legit company. I have a friend that has also called me about joining the company. I was told that some of the top producers make 2-3 thousand a week. It is based on what you do so there is no one else to blame but yourself for poor performance. I have worked with this guy before and made a lot of money so if I were you I wouldn't pass up this opportunity. The economy is bad right now and this could be your way to the top.

DONT DO IT! At first it sounds great but then they screw you over. They did that to my boyfriend, and if you want to hear more about it, go to ripoff report *dot* com ( I believe it is com) and search TRG and Verizon. Lots of people ALL OVER have been screwed by this company.
