My dad (52) and I (20s) are going to Italy in May. We're Italian, and he's never been, but I've been 2x before.
We'll be in Italy for 18-21 days... and I need advice on where we can go, because I would like to see some new places this time around.
We're absolutely visiting our family (near Avellino) and going to Rome. But where else, and what are some good things we can do together while we're there? (aside from seeing an AS Roma game!!)
/he's not really helping me with planning, and has no idea what he wants to see. I'm kind of busy with my last term of university before I graduate, so I don't have the time I normally would like to invest in planning a trip.
I've been to Rome, Tivoli, Florence, Venice, Sorrento, Capri, Positano and Pompeii. I don't mind going to these places again, but I also wouldn't mind going to somewhere in the area that is similar, but that I've never seen before. Any ideas?
