Trouble with Blackberry Pearl and MP3's?

when I try to assign an MP3 ringtone to a contact I am able to choose a song from my media card, but when I open it up none of the songs I uploaded are there. How can I fix this? And yes...when I go to my music and look on my media card they are there, but they are not there when I want to assign a song as a ringtone to a contact. Please help!
 
not trying to be rude, but try reading the manual.

if that doesnt work, someone can help you i guess.
