I have a truck. It was in a couple minor accedents that were my fault. Never made an insurance claim so the body damage stayed. I started making this my project truck. So its missing parts. (Bed and all parts attached, parts of interior, radio and speakers, ect.) I lost my job and can no longer make payements on it. My wife only works part time and we don't have much in savingS. In order to pay our house payments we have to let the truck go back, sad I know. I live in thestate of florida. We owe about 6000 and I will be impressed if they get 1000 out of selling or auctionig this off. I know that they will sue me and im sure they will win. But is what I did illegal? Can I go to jail? And in my state can they get there money by garnishing wages or taking from or siezing my accounts? Also I own my wifes car outright... can they take that? Or will the final result be bad credit and a lot of letters?
