Thurs lecture? i) If the quiz is on Thurs then you know after Wed, so no surprise.
Hence there is no surprise quiz on thursday

ii) If the quiz is on Wed, then you know after Mon, so no surprise.
Hence there is no surprise quiz on Wed

By i) and ii) the quiz must be on Monday, so no surprise.
Hence there is no surprise quiz on monday, and so no surprise quiz next week.
