TV/DVD combi saying wrong region?

My daughters TV/DVD combi keeps coming up wrong region whenever I put a DVD in, it was working fine a couple of days ago, and playing all DVD's fine and now will not play any. I have been all through the menu screens and settings but there is nothing to change it. I have also been on the manufacturers website but there is no information on there that I have not already tried! It is a Phillips TV/DVD Combi, about 5 years old, model number is 15PT6807I/05. Hope someone can help as My daughter is getting really upset about this! She is 4. It's not connected to the aerial, she only uses it for DVD's. Any info will be appreciated thanks!
 
Since it worked with these DVDs before, and I assume you didn't hack it ..... You may want to try a dvd cleaner disk. There may be some dirt/dust on the laser pickup. Also, make sure the dvds are clean. You can get a dvd cleaner disk at any department store that sells electronics, any electronics store, or Radio Shack.
 
you need the hack to open it to all regions go to google and look for hack for your model
