Twitter: The Rock Scoops Osama Bin Laden's Death

The death of Osama Bin Laden was one of the world’s top secrets. Outside of President Obama and a few high level government officials, nobody knew about the operation or the fact that Osama Bin Laden was killed … except for The Rock. Yes, that The Rock. On The Rock’s Twitter, he not so subtly celebrated Osama Bin Laden’s death.

Here is what The Rock said on Twitter prior to President Obama’s announcement:


  • “I just got word that will shock the world. The land of the free and home of the brave! I am damn proud to be an American!”

  • “Finally…”

  • “I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday present.”

  • “America brought it. Team Bring It forever proud!”
How the heck did The Rock scoop the world by reporting Osama Bin Laden’s death? He hasn’t said. My guess is that he probably has some friends who are Navy SEALs. Since the Navy SEALs are the ones who killed Osama Bin Laden, I wouldn’t doubt they bragged to their friends and family — most likely via mass text messages.

The Rock has also visited troops overseas many times, which could explain the connection. Anyways, when The Rock is one of the most informed people in the world, you know the world is a wacky place.
