first and foremost, i saw an article that today will be Lou Piniella's last day, as he will retire early because of his mothers health.

2nd, Vin Scully has announced he will stay in the booth for the 2011 season.

what are your thoughts and opinions on both these events? i would love to hear what cubs fans think of Lou leaving.

So long Lou, he will me missed. When i needed a laugh, i watched a Cub game just to see him get thrown out. I will miss him at least.
 
I don't follow the Cubs closely. But I have always been a fan of his.

I also have great admiration for Vin Scully
