How do i install tar.gz files lucid linux 10.0.4
Ubuntu installing tar.gz files using commands to install from web or from desktop
I have the files on my computer of the program i want to install here is what they look like

i need to know how to install them

i will re-post this if i get no working answer
 
tar and gz are compression formats. Based on the screenshot, it looks like it was already uncompressed (The 1st folder)
