Okay, about a year ago, I switched from Windows 7 to Linux (Ubuntu)...

When Partitioning, I just deleted the whole windows partition because I had no intent on going back to Windows 7. Now I want to go to windows 8, but I can't because I have 0% of free space in the partition.

I just want to get rid of Linux now, and move on to Windows 8.

Please help ASAP. Thanks guys!
Oh and it keeps saying an error windows need NTFS, when I tried to partition it.

To sum it up:
All I need to know is: How to install Windows 8 on linux, if you have completely erased Windows 7 from your computer...?

If you don't like Linux... why go to Win 8 which is a Linux wanabe. Any hoo, all you need to do is insert the Win 8 install disk and install it... it will over write the Ubuntu installation when it formats the drive for installation. Win 8 is aimed at tabs and touch-screens... unless you have one it is not soo great.

When you install Windows, the setup process provides the ability to format the installation media (hard drive). You could select the option to delete all current partitions, then start fresh.
