in the game what button do i press to stop someone from doing a submission on me!!!
 
Assuming its like 2009 you can either mash on all the face buttons X, Y, A, B, or you can rotate the right analog stick. I think the mashing worked better if you had high strength and the spinning if you had high technical skill.
