I usually take ibuprofen for menstrual cramps but last time I took it I got bad stomach cramps for several days. I think it messed with my stomach lining. Though I'm not 100% it was the ibuprofen that did this, I'm pretty sure it was. This time for menstrual cramps, should I take lower doses of ibuprofen or is there anything else I can take that works well? (I can't take acetaminophen because it never works for me).

Advil is very good the PM. But to be honest I can only take Ibuprofen 800 or advil. Try soaking in hot water or your using heating pads, or drinking some hot tea. My cycle was the worst last month . Hope your gets better

just remember to take the Iburprofen with food, if it upset your tummy I will wager it is because you took it on an empty stomach one too many times.
