I have a friend who has a record overstaying in Australia because he didn't have enough money for his school fees, so he had to quit school and overstay in Australia for 3 years to find a job and make some money.
Now he is in Thailand his home.
He wants to go on a trip to UK, and he has enough money to support himself. The problem is the visa application says have you been to a country in the past 10 years. He doesn't know what to do.
Should he say yes and confess the truth or say no?...lawyers say that he should say no, but he thinks he should confess and tell the truth. What do you think he should do?
