I bought a cable of Amazon.co.uk to connect my Sony Ericsson k300i to my computer so I can get pictures etc. off the phone http://www.amazon.co.uk/EMARTBUY-ERICCSON-K300i-DCU-11-SOFTWARE/dp/B001CM6MRK/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1304182379&sr=8-9 and it has arrived and fits the phone fine and everything. However, after downloading the Sony Ericsson PC Suite I noticed the phone wasn't being recognized as connected at all, and the phone itself which is on when I connect it doesn't respond at all.
I looked under Device Manager (I have Windows 7 by the way) and under the tab 'Other Devices' was the title of the cable; 'usb cable dcu-11' and after clicking that, it says that 'The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)'.
It also can't find any driver software when I tell it to search automatically and update the driver.
Do I have to get the driver(s) from somewhere specific? If so I don't know where that would be.
