Bible or Christ?
@Red: The Bible doesn't say that either. And who calls for them to be killed? That's putting 100 on 10, devaluing your POV! If you can't explain your bigotry with truth, maybe examine the root cause?
And you don't know a thing about my education or knowledge...never heard "better to remain silent and thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt?" I think that's a quote by one of your own, heh?
@SG Broker: Your missing the point...atheists claim to be against all faith, but the truth is revealed routinely that this is not the case and that in fact their hatred is really only directed at a specific group. Confucius is merely one of many named I could have inserted. And Christ never had to say a word to stir the masses...His mere existence did and still does...why that power do you think?
Don't you agree that if one earnestly does not believe in someone/thing, there would be no real feelings either way on the topic? They call the Bible a fairy tale...what other fairy tale holds so much power to stir such strong feelings...which clearly betrays their claim of unbelief, no?

Other forms of religion don't carry the same authority and so don't convict the way God's Word does. "It is sharp as a two-edged sword, piercing and dividing"!

For the same reason the Bible is banned and readers put to death in many Countries, but few other religious manuscripts, teachings or writings carry the same power!

A. Confucius was a real person, while Christ's historical existence is debatable at best.

B. Confucianism is not a religion, it is a philosophy

Because Confucius lets people still have fun while being moral.

Who's saying it's unacceptable? Quote whatever you like, but be prepared to prove it afterwards if you're going to apply it somehow... good luck with that.

You may quote whomever you like. But it's a fact that Confucius was a real person. The historical Jesus Christ is debatable at best, and the Bible is a collection of rubbish, like Aesop's Fables!

Hey, 'Jesus loves Ann Coulter'...I'll take Charles Darwin, science, logic, and common sense ANY DAY OF THE WEEK! You can hang on to your Ann Coulter, or as she is more popularly known, "Marie Antoinette, with an Adam's Apple"!!

lmao... good observation, I've experianced that too but never accually noticed. i think that is best question for unbelievers

Atheists think they can handle just straight wisdom. They think that is all they deal in and that they have the market cornered on it via darwin.

Atheists cannot handle the truth or power of the Gospel. It is as foreign to them as victory is to the Detroit Lions.

the Qur'an is quoted more often than the bible. that really says something. forget about confucius. never listen to people with pickle shaped heads. lol

It's ok to quote the Bible and Christ. This is R&S, but some atheists took a wrong turn somewhere, so don't mind them being confused that Bible quotes and Christ quotes are acceptable, and completely appropriate, in this section.
