Australian Aboriginals? What are the underlying Christian teachings that are relevant to how others or we should respond to the issue of Australian Aboriginals and their treatment in society.

Christians and Australians in general do not know how to fix the aboriginal problem. But the community here has 2 young men who will be the future and you will be amazed at the results.
Love and blessings....Lord
ps. There are several women who are extraordinary also.

didnt the priests take away the mixed kids for some reason?

that might have been their solution

What happened to Aborigines had nothing to do with religion, and more to do with racism and an utter disregard for human life. I think for some retarded individuals, they used the word god and christianity to condone their treatment of these people, but it doesn't wash with me.
It truly is a tragic thing that was allowed to happen, and the same applies to the Native American Indians.

We shouldn't need the Bible to be good to people.
Self determination isn't discussed in the text. But Jesus said 'love thy neighbor.' What more would we need?
