Unemployed Christians -- did you know that God can employ you?

There is always work in God's kingdom, so don't be discouraged, but seek God's will and work and you will never be unemployed as there are so many people needing God's help on planet earth.
You could check with missions groups, large churches, Wycliffe Bible translators, for jobs, job ideas, support. Pray about what to do. Start a website, newsletter, get some support, and go for it! What do you think?
 
We are a nation of people that don't like to work. Why? Because we are a Chistian Nation. As long as we keep going to church unemployment will be high. Jesus hated earning a living. Jesus was a "carpenter", but there are exactly zero stories of him building anything. Not even a birdhouse, or hanging a shelf. Fact of the matter is Jesus leeched off of other people. He had no home, paid no rent, ate for free. Heck he even encouraged 12 other dudes to quit their jobs and leave their families. Jesus=Unemployment. Simple math.
 
It is true that Jesus had an anti-capitalist mind-set but none of His teachings discouraged employment.There is no question that if Christians keep praying in faith that God will give them an assignment to serve Him rather than themselves and their families,He will find paid employment for them somewhere in the world.
 
That sounds more like volunteer work. For now, I'm just praying and searching..
 
God has a reason for every season and a season of unemployment is no different.

What you suggest sounds like some good ideas to be considered to me.
 
yeah, just pray for him and stay in your house forever and you'll get signed up as CEO of christianity co. because goddidit
 
it seems like anyone who REALLY had faith in god could simply pray, and wait for the job to come to THEM ...

somehow, i suspect that NOBODY has that much faith in god ... or, if they did, they have starved to death by now ...
